EPICENTERS

An epicenter is an optional addition to your subwoofer configuration that works primarily to add bass where none or not enough is present and is usually a recommendation based on your music taste. This does not mean it “boosts” bass, rather it creates bass for songs that would otherwise not include the kind of low frequencies your subwoofer produces. Typically older song recordings, Mexican Banda, American Country, Rock etc. that use real instruments and songs that are mixed without lower bass notes stand to benefit from an epicenter. Without the epicenter, it may seem as though the subwoofers are not on or are more quiet in comparison to other songs.
